I used to do the same thing like a few years ago and I got into quite a few people into bitcoin and other cryptos, friends, some family members and so on. Though I never do it again because what's the point? If the person actually not interested in it and you need to pursue into using it then just don't do it. If they won't join and know that you have at least one bitcoin and bitcoin goes to for example 500k dollars they will be begging you for money and no one wants that.
