that is what is called addiction,it is a bad thing to be addicted to gambling,when you know you are not good in gambling quit gambling,some people call it game betting.....we loose money while doing this,some even borrow money to gamble....such fellow need determination to opt out of gambling,if not it could lead to depression and sometimes to could leads to suicidal attempt,when one as used all is earned money and resources on gambling.
Other than addiction, there gamblers who just continue their gambling out of curiosity to find what is the end for their gambling or for their spending capabilities. When a gambler goes control-less, this type of situations are happening.
That is the reason immature gamblers must be allowed to gamble only under surveillance of their parents/guardians. Otherwise slowly they will get gambling addictions and they will simply continue their gambling regardless of what they are getting back from gambling.
