How do I update the core wallet on Mac OS? Just delete the app, then download and install the updated one?
If I have a copy of the wallet.dat file, then I will be fine in case something goes wrong?

One backuo=no backup. Make sure you have a backup on a USB or something like that. Just to be sure if computer crashes or whatever.
