I always deposited my money in safe places like MTGOX and Cryptsy. In 2001 i used to keep a part in a bank in Argentina. Waves looks safe and stable.

It was a simple network connection issue that the team had solved in 20 minutes and this information was publicly available very rapidly. Instead of panicking and freaking out, maybe you should try to calmly understand what's going on. If this kind of a simple connection error can cause you to lose your composure and freak out, you obviously have money invested here that you can't lose. You shouldn't be investing money that you can't lose in a space like this, and obviously not when you don't understand the experimental and somewhat unstable nature of the technology you're using.
