It's actually an example of what an incoherent random mess looks like and of how to impose the most adverse of couplings at the wrong place in the design/development cycle, just so you've got "something to sell".

I suppose we could test it out though. Try painting an online Picasso by letting everyone vote on where the next pixel goes. Could be interesting. At least it would be democratic !
