is it even possible to shutdown the fake MGO token from DEX ?
This is legit question why not there are shutting down that fake asset from DEX at the moment it's much needed to take action against it.
From what I understand anyone can create a new token or asset and name it whatever they want, so it is impossible for them to shut it down. But this should not even matter, as it is not affiliated with mgo and anyone stupid enough to our buy a fake token that has a price of a few pennies thinking it's the real deal deserves to be burned.
be sure that there ıs tons of stupıd to buy fake coıns. waves platform should solve that fake token ıssue.
token creatatıon should be more expensıve. and token aır drop should be more expensıve too. 0,0001 wave ıs nothıng for that cheaters. just 1 wrong buyıng ıs enough to take that 0,0001 wave cost. waves platmort must ıncrease prıze of token createtıon.
Relatively speaking, their is no fake tokens as the asset ID isn't the same. A token is a token. The name is just to make your live easier.
Some peoples will try to lure you because of that mechanic. Make the creation more expensive won't solve the issue. Waves is a token machine, the price is ok.
As I said, they are reworking the system to prevent that issue. At the moment they are marking the legit tokens with a green arrow.
