Lightning allows for scaling offchain low fee and instant transaction with the possibility of atomic swaps with coins that have segwit/lightning.

With or without lightning network, I have lost faith in Ltc/Btc ratio. I believe there is possibility we target the long term down trend again on the weekly and pump to 0.02 and then back down if not, then the Ltc/Btc ratio may continue its downward trend. Hopefully, it finds support on the daily 200sma around 0.006 - 0.007. If not it will go down to 0.002. I'm not confident enough with this scenario to short but I have closed all margin positions and sold some Ltc at 0.012, not all of it but 30%. I will repurchase lower.
