If you click pool name from the left menu bar, it will be opened at current window.
If you click Blue colored pool names from profitability table, it will be opened in new tab/window.
I personally open +100 tabs via Chrome. I'm tab holic.
I'll consider changing it, but some miners would like current webpage too.
Can you clarify what link bothers you most?
