So, Does the news about paypal working with ripple is true? Can someone in here tell me about the truth? Not feel good because i wasn't bought ripple on the cheap price. What is the relatioship ripple and r3?
I think there are two things here, and it depends on your personal viewpoint:
A) You have faith long-term that Ripple will be a success, and that XRP will be THE token of use on the RCL, and that price will rise. In this case, speculation about paypal is immaterial - you are holding long-term regardless.
or B) You are buying and selling XRP for profits on short-term trades. In this case, the salient point is that speculation is invariably priced-in before the event, as we've seen recently with LTC and segwit (the price started climbing as soon as the rumours started... and pretty much immediately after the official announcement, the price fell). So what you need here to make a profit is either awareness of rumours before they become widespread, or else the skill to read markets.
