I'll be making my fortune through BTC, but my endgame still involves gold. I plan on burying some amount of gold somewhere where I feel safe about it, and keep it there until need arises. Sure it might not bring in much of any returns laying buried in the ground but at least I'll be calm knowing that even if all the economy crashes, I'll have something to fall back on. Maybe I'll hide a stash of weapons too, since guns may become pretty expensive in the event of an apocalypse.

Wouldn't go for investing into gold in the current situation. There are plenty of better options.
