Seems I was right (just found it in the policy)
any members that do not vote within thirty days of a poll begin will automatically vote for the "no action" choice
I'll be leaving as a resultI'm not comfortable with a policy which rejects the usual definition of "abstain"
I'm not willing to be a part of a system where people who truly abstain are instead automatically being counted as a veto
... This policy change for reinvestment / expansion is probably going to fail
... all because of the way the voting system works (doesn't work) right now
... I don't know how to finish this statement without pissing off ognasty again.
I've often been devil's advocate. I've pointed out legitimate, sincere concerns and questions, pushing for straightforward policy
... not everyone considers "doing things right & having a solid plan" to be worth as much effort as ... nevermind
Basically, I'm sorry for "stirring the pot" in such a way that my intentions and goals were dismissed as trolling or otherwise useless words.
Obviously, my methods can't do shit if my words fall on deaf ears.
Perhaps someone "less unpopular" (better liked?) can make a difference.
I know that multiple GLBSE-traded securities & bonds went completely sideways.
