philip sorry to derail this thread, here you mentioned that you might build an enclosure for the rigs, and you pointed to radiator fans, I was browsing this forum and came across a post by MarkAz, that those fans may be not good enough here so if you do go ahead, please be careful.

uses 120 volts it will cut your finger off as it has metal blades .
I used them years ago.
I had riser free 4 card builds with xfx hd7970 mining btc back in 2012
I had these with grills in open case builds it would stack right over the four cards it worked.
I really hurt a finger as the grills were not quite perfect. If you get these be really careful
