that's true, never easy to completely quit from gambling when it comes to addiction. unless if you didn't get addicted yet , there might some chances for you to have an exit door. but still it would be hard but at least it wasn't as hard as when you have got addicted. there's always a way out for those people who clever enough to find it.
I think you're wrong with your idea of not completely easy, why isn't easy? Its because you don't wanted to changed yourself and despite of quiting for good you let yourself addicted in gambling. No one could help you to quit, no other than but yourself; so if you wanted to quit in an easy way you should be more open to suggestions on this forum, and even friends who cared for you. Try another diversion of the money you have either bitcoin or from fiat cash money investments, than can make good profit rather than wasting it through gambling investments.
I agree, it is a matter of personal decision. People are having a hard time because they let their wants to gamble take over them. They have lots of excuses and keep on telling themselves an endless "this will be the last time". If a person intends to stop then it means he will stop no matter how hooked he is in gambling.
