Well ... when I get a 5GH/s BFL Jalapeno in a few days that's listed on the website as $274 and will hopefully start shipping in quantity soon - sorta makes that $2,795 seem rather ridiculous ... and 48 chips to make 6GH/s ? (The Jalapeno will be 1 or 2 chips and are around 30W)
No mention of power consumption of the Mars. It could well be obsolete before it pays for itself.

Best shelf it and focus on the 250GH.
