Slush is down to 5%. No PPS is hurting it in my opinion. I tried both on BTC Guild and PPS is much more lucrative than PPLNS (I know Slush is different with SCORE). No wonder BTC Guild has started defaulting new workers to PPLNS.
I will be back to Slush when it stabilizes.
This 5% you speak of is a very poor number to quote right now. It is from blocks found in last 24hr. Also recovering from hack and ultra bad luck on the day.
At 7.5 Thash/s, pool is still easily 10-12% of total hashing power of the network.
Incidentally, the miners who stick by Slush during outages/hacks/ddos get really nice fat payouts when all the knock-knees and fraidy-cats head for other pools
