A question to all uno owners out there that mainly "hold" and not buy & sell (pump and dump?)....

Do you perceive uno to be more of a commodity, that it, a storage of wealth, as opposed to a currency? I'm asking because I was initially attracted to it because of its rarity (low supply) and community (all of you) and now view it as a very secure and stable long term investment. I see other altcoins out there with quantities in the hundreds of millions up to billions (like ripple) and think of them more as "cash" that are more unstable.

Now this is all an illusion, right? We can slice up all crypto down to the 8th decimal place (satoshi). For comparison and without loss of generality, let's look at the the supplies of uno and ripple on the satoshi level. They look like 3,862,169,393,300,000,000 vs. 19,773,000,000,000. These supply numbers don't seem THAT much different. The first is 3.8 quintillion and the second is 19.8 trillion. Once you go "rillion" is just huge. Now let's go back to the actual supply levels. The difference between 38,621,693,933 vs. 197,730 seems astronomically significant! Now look at "tons" (is this metric?) of uno vs. ripple: 197.7 vs. 38,621,693,933. Oh boy!!

How do you feel these comparisons are for the perception of uno? I see amazing potential for it and significant growth ahead as a storage of wealth.

On another note, I have been finding myself educating many people I work with and interact with every day about cryptocurrencies and their potential. But the majority still does not understand crypto and/or is afraid of something they can't hold or touch. I think we sometimes forget this since many of us check this forum, uno prices, or their favorite X-change daily. When adoption of altcoins becomes more mainstream, the growth will skyrocket like nothing we've ever seen before. The 2-3 year changes will seem like "blimps" on a screen. I foresee $100 billion market going to $1 trillion soon and then to the tens of trillions over time. When this happens, we will have our own 'personal' storage of wealth nicely tucked away.
