Agreed. A lot of youtubers seem to be promoting genesis-mining and showing off their incredible stats. Either that they are plain stupid or they are taking advantage of unsuspecting newcomers to bitcoin who uses their code to buy everything.

I've bought genesis mining before the halving, i bought the lowest available for bitcoin mining which was 50gh/s i think. It was sold to me for 0.05 BTC. When I got it it was paying ok, but the rates quickly diminished to 0.00005 btc every three days. After the halving it just stopped producing profit altogether.

Don't use anyone's promo codes. Don't even invest. It's not worth it.
