Ok. There is a chance that the cryptonote algorithm is still breakable I assume? Has it been tested and audited?
I hope this was not question for me. Since I am not a cryptographer. So far many algorithms were broken you can find that data on wiki. Bitcoin algorithm SHA256 should get broken way faster then Moneros CryptoNight .

Click on older ones like MD2 or SHA0 and see when they were invented and when broken in theory and when broken in practice. Eventually all will get broke but much faster in theory then in practice. And you see MD2 and SHA0 are actually still used altho are not secure anymore.
