I'm mining with the Genoil 1.1.7 and use the coinotron pool.
GPU is a 7970GHz @1185/1865.
I get around 14MH/s, is that ok or too low

You better try mining Expanse (has smaller DaG) with your card, or even better any Equihash algorithm coin (like ZCash, ZEN, Zclassic or so)
