Does anybody know if @miningpoolhub has ever explained how exactly is the norm. profit calculated? The explanation when hovering over norm. profit text doesn't give any specifics.
I'm watching whattomine.com every once in a while and they seem to be giving slightly different coins for NVIDIA every time I compare their recommendations to MPH.
For example now WTM says Vertcoin (that MPH offers also) is more profitable than ETH but in MPH ETH has norm. profit of 2.4 and Vertcoin 1.5. That's a quite the difference.
Because 1060 and 1070, and probably some other Nvidia cards are actually better at mining ETH.
I'm actually running 1080 and I've updated WTM's settings from my own benchmarks with different algos so at least in theory I should get more accurate results?
