I really think ETH is going to take the number one spot, ETH is slowly growing, it's just a matter of time. Bitcoin is way older than ETH, Only if ETH was older than BTC, we would have been saying a different story now
So this is going to be a crypto war between ETH and bitcoin,what ever it is ,it will take a really long time to catch up with bitcoin as it needs to increase five times with the current value of ETH,lets see how things go and when it will catch up 
Please, don't think only about price.
We should also check other factors like how many merchants accepts certain crypto currency, how much there is ATM and debit cards for this crypto currency etc.
When everything is taken into account, bitcoin is still number one for a long time, and all other crypto currencies are still far away.
Of course, things on Internet can change very quickly, so if bitcoin don't solve current issue with very long confirmation time and high transaction fees, we may see another winner in a few years.
