The short list items shall really relate to that particular segment of mining you are going to talk about (e.g. BTC ASIC mining or ETH protocol ASIC/GPU mining).
It simply doesn't make a lot of sense to make a dedicated resource for all types of mining, since they are not only different by the type of hardware setup, software, pool services etc, but are also vastly different for different protocols and their tokens, if you go down to altcoins.
