I also like the idea, however it just came through my mind that as far as i know FIAT doesn't have like fiat day or something like that. So why would us? its good to see if we have bitcoin day because i think its like we have an independence day for bitcoin day. the good point here is many people will know bitcoin have a day to celebrate so i think this will attracted them to join with bitcoin world. beside that, they know that if we celebrate bitcoin day, this will help them to remember when the bitcoin is launched for first time.
I agree with you. Bitcoin day is a day to let people around the world know more about the benefit of it. it's also the day for "Bitcoiners" gather together and teach each other. But it depends on the leaders of the countries and I'm still glad if bitcoin day exists.
