Are we supposed to put our own wallet address in rpcpassword spot?

Well the rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 means that it only accepts connections from the localhost only which means from the computer that you are running the wallet with, so the default password should be alright.
I have typical problem,like with almost every new coin.
The wallet wont sync.It's stuck on block 55.It says 1 hour behind....
What to do???why is this always a problem??
