I forget how I managed it, but I got a web-based wallet of some sort working, using a "local server".
Might have been part of that "all in one" package and I do remember I had to go straight into the .bat file stuff to get it to work at all.
IMO any program that depends on IE being on a system is STUPID and should be ignored.
The wallet isn't built around "IE" it is just a component for the Online Browser to work on Windows. If you don't update IE you will also get a script error that pops up.
But yeah I agree with your sentiment on "IE" and it has no effect on the Burst wallet.
Run Local wallets and support the network. Use the Online browser if you had to clean your DB and resync. Or if you are on a computer for a one time transaction.
