If you are using the TOR connection just go to https://www.blockexperts.com/xbc# and click on Peers and it will show latest nodes to add.

Copy each node onto bitcoinplus.conf using addnode={insert node here} and hit enter so each node appears on a separate line.

You are on standard P2P by the sounds of things and connecting to standard hard coded nodes but they are sufficient and wallet will grab any new standard nodes if they come online.If you want to use TOR only go to settings and open connection option and tick the box for the native TOR connection etc.It wont activate until you reopen your wallet though and depending on ISP/connection speed may take a while to grab its first connection but you may have a lot more peers this way.
