I can't believe people are still paying 350x the value of these. Better than the people that bought it out of the gate, but yeah...
IOT   $1,383,953,144    $5e-07   2,779,530,283,277,760 *   $10,106,300
So, it's actual value is $5e-07 which comes out to $0.001257
For anyone that made this one of their first purchases, I have a feeling they'll never come back to crypto. Nice work.

You are completely wrong.
The marketcap is correct.
The supply of individual iotas is correct.
1383953144/2779530283277760 = 0.0000004979090001 $
The cost of 1 iota is = 0.0000004979090001 $

The unit being traded on bitfinex is Mi = MegaIOTAS = 1 000 000 iotas.
0.0000004979090001 * 1000000= 0.4979 $

50 cents for 1 Million iotas. That is what is being traded.

Coinmarketcap is drunk and doesn't know whether to show the full supply of individual IOTAS, or the supply of MegaIOTAS (Mi).

If coinmarketcap shows a supply of:
2,779,530,283
Then it is referring to Mi (Mega iotas, which equal 1 Million IOTAS each).

If you are calculating in individual IOTAS (comparable to Satoshis with bitcoin, very similar supply, then it is an extremely small value for 1 iota of course, just like 1 satoshi is a very small value, often called 'dust'. With iota you can actually transfer 1 iota, such a small value perfectly intact to another user.) This is why trading is conducted in Mi (1 Million iotas).
