IMO we'll have to wait at least 1 and 1/2 to 2 years before BTC reach $4000. Also August 1st is coming and it makes it even harder to make a prediction.
It might not be that long of a wait because with the amount of news being stored up for Bitcoin within the upcoming months the price could go up to around $4,000 per Bitcoin based on the hype alone. I want to try to have some Bitcoin before that happens.
True I also believe this year bitcoin will reach $ 4000 maybe even up to $ 5000, it is very likely to happen, a lot of things that encourage the rise in bitcoin prices, the legality of bitcoin in some countries makes a very good news to raise the price of bitcoin
