You're looking into this a little too hard. It basically says we will have some news for you in about a week. Don't understand why you find it so difficult to understand?
Well okay - since you ask, it benefits me in the short term, but I find it highly improper for a developer to announce a week before that a week later an announcement will be made. To me the it's unprofessional, even if it is motivated by a desire to pump XZC and even if I benefit from it in the short term.

Why don't you make an announcement in a week's time, I mean the actual announcement, rather than the announcement of the announcement - isn't that normal practice?
