can you just get a domain instead of using WP ...
well... at the moment, no.
i am getting WP set up on my own domain (which, due to my technical inability, takes a while), but I am not sure about the whole bitcoin legality thingamajig, so i am not sure if i will ever use it to sell gold and silver via bitcoin (it not being anonymous then anymore, with all the taxes and stuff). i am selling from my private collection, not trying to be a business. however, if i were to set up the same structure as is currently in place on the wordpress blog on my own domain, it would likely be considered a "business", be taxable etc etc.
