All the best to Aeon, hopefully someone at some point in time will fix it. At the moment it's just broken.
Not trying to troll here. I know that smooth invested time into some fixes, but the whole process wasn't very professional, sorry. I lost my trust in coin that has to rollback and fixes are not verified on testnet before going public.
Not speaking about ongoing bullshit - it cannot be a light version of monero due to extensive memory requirements. Howgh.
While you may have some valid criticism, I'd like to point out something else.
There are more than a couple CryptoNote coins that, like zombies, just refuse to die. They have no active development, nothing that could be called a community aside from a few miners, and are dragging themselves along based on little more than speculation. Aeon *does* have active development and an active community.
Assuming the code rebase succeeds, I think there is a very good chance of Aeon's market cap exploding and it becoming the #2 CryptoNote coin.
