You mean you trade paper wallets off chain? How would you ever trust anyone? The private key would/could be known by both of you. I could go over to someone's place, buy their flat screen TV for 0.2
BTC, go home, wipe the private key and now I have a free TV. If he believed the same thing and was trying to save a few bucks on the tx fee then he wouldn't have swept the wallet.
