For big setup like 1080ti, best to have 3 or 4 GPUs on a rig and get a good PSU and cooling.
At 70-75 TDP, you should get good mid-600sols per card well under 200watts with good efficiency 3.x
Cool, stable hash and undervolted is the secret to success.....

The 1600w EVGA is always on my test rigs so that it can take anything that i push at them.
Eventually this rig will be powered by a 1200w server PSU and 100% ZEC mining with nvOC Linux.

four 1080 ti's  could be 300 watts each if they are aorus

so 1200 x .85 = 1020 watts    so if you have a 1000 watt psu it may not cut it

1200w/1300w to be safe

4 x Gigabyte Aorus
160core/100mem/PL=195@3000sols@870-900watts
MSI-Z270A-Pro, 4gb RAM, i3-7100, EVGA-G2-1600w
nvOC NVIDIA Linux
That's a beast of a PSU  Shocked Shocked

Was looking to change my setup to 4 1080ti's and was curious about what PSU is out there to do it with....guess I know now.

Newegg is showing it at around $360 out of stock, some others have it higher. Is this purely for density sake?  Wouldn't it be economically better to just make another rig for 2 cards and save on the PSU by using a 850W or so?
