Apart from wondering why this thread even exists (perhaps a moderator could enlighten me) since this matter has been settled ages ago, my question is:

even if it was true and we had all been scammed, would it really make a significant difference to the way we live?

I think not, therefore I intend to continue my evening as I had planned and just let it be.
