Antonio Conte has demanded some terms and he will refuse to extend his contract with the club before his requests are met. I think Conte is just pissing on his territory, letting Abramovich know he wants money & a lot of it. Chelsea will spend a lot, I have no doubt about that, they always do. They're in the CL this season too so need a bigger squad with more games

I am convinced that Chelsea will make at least 3-4 big purchases this year and will be one of the favorites in champion's league.
Conte wants Bonucci and Alex Sandro in defense, Babayoko midfield and a great striker: Lukaku or Lewandowski.
With these purchases Conte would have a very strong team
Chelsea has to, to maintain EPL championship and to compete well in the FA Cup, League Cup and the CL. I think they also want Alexis Sanchez, which seems like a good fit in the club.
As for being favorites in the CL, I doubt it pretty much. It's gonna be the usual suspects. Barca, Real, Bayern. you know how it is...
