I've been away from cryptoworld for almost 3 years now. I see thing have not improved much in that time. It seems that exchanges are still run by amateurs or criminals. How is this doing any favours for acceptance of cryptocurrency? It was the reason why I left in the first place.
I used Poloniex 3 years ago and it was just fine. I came back few days ago and started using Poloniex again. I did some trades and succesfully withdraw some btc one time. My second withdrawal attempt ended up as "Awaiting Approval".
I'm truly mad. How can this be? isn't this poloniex supposed to be worlds largest altcoin exchange now? How can they keep funds as a hostage like this?

As a whole I do not know about poloniex in the past because I used this exchange not so long ago, the reason I use poloniex is because I think poloniex is a stock site that is very much used by bitcoin community and has been trusted. After reading the updates they are doing, I guess that's just a rotten plan that they do.
They do not have active support, it should be a big and long standing site like poloniex is supposed to have active support so that all customer complaints can be responded quickly and well.
I do not understand why there are still many who use poloniex.
That wont be a problem,once they would request for a particular document and if they found out they are all okay they wont mind no matter what your name is on the site. Are you sure to move up on higher tier? This might be the only thing or solution on the delays you are expriencing because unverified account mostly do experience this thing.
Yes I'm sure to go up to a higher level because I think after verifying level 2 maybe this problem will be resolved.Now I want to ask whether the poloniex user who has verified level 2 ever encountered this problem?
If not, I'll do it soon.
