I do not like it much either.
It was pretty obvious from beginning that tumblebit will not make it on time. I believe the team will deliver, but giving promises and not delivering is simply not OK.
Maybe some people here remember nopara, the dev that left. I am pretty sure he left also because of this.
Stratis team, get a shit together and either deliver the promises or adjust the roadmap. As a (still) big investor, I Thank you for that.
That's not why nopara left. He left because he fundamentally disagreed with the approach of decentralizing the tumblers using master nodes.
That is one of the reasons and the official reason.
Anyways the bottom line is: never promise something that is impossible to deliver. Everything is about trust. The product can be outstanding, but if you break the narrow line of trust everything can be lost.
I hope this was the last time. Yes, it is herd to fulfill the promises. Extremely hard. This is why many cryptos go public after a lot of work is done.
