I've gotten into cryptos not too long ago and I look at ICOs a lot. Is it a better idea to buy older coins though like Dash though. I want to make money like everyone else, but I don't know where the best opportunity is.
Do you invest in startup companies as well? If no, throwing money at ICOs is a big gamble that you shouldn't be doing unless you're prepared that 1/100 might succeed, while the rest will fail miserably. My recommendation would be to look at a solid base with coins that provide good strengths, be it privacy, transaction speeds, ease of use of something else.
I've been holding some assets for a long time, and the gains far outweigh anything I could consider by investing in any ICO. The risk in ICO's is great, so be cautious. Read up on Bitcoins fundamentals and compare that to the say top10 altcoins. I think that will give you a better idea if Bitcoin is the sole king you should invest in, or if there are other potential altcoins that have a promising feature set.
