Yup. If I believe an omnipotent, omniscient being told me to do something,
I would do it. If I get caught and punished as a result, then obviously that being wanted me to get punished; or I'm so far gone that any punishment done to me at that point would not matter.
Once again, murder is murder... good luck explaining the voices in your head to the police
I don't think you understand the concept of voices in your head... god doesn't exist
Besides the fact it would be contradictory to the "do not murder" commandment... how would you even solve such a dilemma?
God told you to both murder and not murder... how could you follow contradictory commands?
If it was a test, you fail by murdering your child... that's obvious, right?
EVERY person who has been on trial for murder claiming, "God made me do it", has been convicted and sentenced... and they all believed in the voices in their head... they were convinced god told them to kill their children or someone else...
But god didn't actually tell them to do it, right?
Can we at least agree that every person who has claimed, "God made me do it" is either a liar or insane?
It is amazing that we consider insane people insane only when they commit murder, not before. Before that, they are "religious", after they murder someone they are insane. They were insane before they committed the murder!!!
Anyone who hears "God voices" should be locked up pronto, before he/she harms themselves or others.
