In recently, Bitcoin on trend up and sometime need adjustment the price, a value can't just rising always, need time to rested and adjustment, that will help investor or trader have more time to buying if you missed buying in past time. I think in end 2017, the price of Bitcoin can hit to ~$5000 if segwit2x successfully!

That price is very possible for bitcoin to reach and if we compare the price right now then it is a good to buy because it is still cheap compare to the price that can be possible reach by bitcoin in the end of this year. Keep buying and treat bitcoin as a saving for long term then you will just get shock because of the earned money that you got.

Yes it would be a good investment to do for now, I know it's been having minimal fluctuation of its price right now, if there were times it lowers down, you should buy immediately because that's an opportunity to benefit in times of bigger rise of it's price. Cheaper bitcoin equals bigger profit gains plus sustainable financial support from from bitcoin from a long term investments you have, and it's proven since that time price still at $900 to $1000 until now it reached at $2000 plus.
