I have ordered 2 l3+ (for the September batch) along with 2 apw++ for the July S9 batch, and I was wondering what else I need to know/have before I am ready to begin mining. I am planning on setting up the machines in their own room of my home and I couldn't find any information about how many can be hooked up in one room or how many on the same circiut. Also is there anything I need to worry about regarding the placement of the miners or the powering of the miners or the profability of them in September. I am very new to mining and any helpful responses would be greatly appreciated.

One L3+ will be pulling 8-9 amps so you can only run one on a typical 15A circuit, MAYBE two on a 20A but not recommended (you should not exceed 80% of breaker rating).
I don't think anybody can help you with profitability. Most likely the difficulty will increase and profitability will decrease by then, but nobody can tell how much.

Edit: you'll also need a wired internet connection, e.g. two Ethernet cables from your router.
