As to exchanges I believe that the recent uptake of bitcoin in the media has brought the exchanges more traffic than they can ahndle at the moment, so adding another token will do more harm than good. I do not know this but I know one exchange just replied to our month old email, a few days ago. Also VERI cannot be mined.
