Note: this is a theoretical thread to discuss what would happen to Bitcoin, its price, and fanatics if it was suddenly revealed who is Satoshi Nakamoto and that they are now deceased.
What would happen to:
1. Bitcoin technology;
2. The price of a Bitcoin;
3. How would the community feel.
Discuss.
One we already assume Satoshi is dead with the supply of Bitcoins never being touched
Until proven otherwise so that will not change.
I would be sad that I never met the man or woman or group/entity that was Satoshi Nakamoto in reality but appreciate all the good work they had done.
For all I know Satoshi had a terminal illness and hence decided to leave in a sad curtain a legacy with his remaining time.
