Buying at a price of $ 1000 and selling at a price of $ 2500 is still not considered strong for bitcoin?? 
I might say bitcoin is a strong currency when bitcoin prices are not easily manipulated. Of course the reason is because the user is very much and can not be manipulated again by somebody and bitcoin is really independent and I can call it strong
