I think it's because recently there are reports of withdrawal problems at Poloniex. The second thing you mention is what's important, the channel says "Solid community, organization and seriousness", we'll see how they do it. I've seen Pump groups previously 2 times and just gave the signal without saying more, this looks more serious, hopefully something good are preparing. Im following just to see...
