If we end up with one Bip148 chain and one Bitmain chain, then I would prefer to mine on the Bip148 chain. Bitmain is planning their own hardfork if bip148 goes into effect, so this could happen.

But it depends on whether both survive. Which one will be called bitcoin? Which one will merchants accept?
