I bought a EVGA Black, does anyone owns it!?

I have a rig, I like them, at 82% tdp I am at about 62c in a garage (with outside temps in high 90s) they work well, and they have a nice warranty. They don't OC too well on the core side (at least mine do not). My SC2 does better on core.

what do you find they max for core?   i find my gigabytes were "cheaper" but over +200 on mem they crap right out, while my zotac tho cost more can do +400  (locks at +550 tho)
what clocks can the evga blacks do before crapping?   it seems core matters but mem not really (i go -400 on my zotac on mem)

CjMaPope, I find I can get the cores to about 85-90 with no rejects poolside, for memory depends on the algo but on some I can get to 400-450. Mind you 5 of mine are what I consider normal nvidia silicon (no lottery winners here) and I have 1 I want to call pokie - too lazy to separate him out and find his own timings, he may be slowing the lot (might do it now that I type it). I have an SC2, which under performs compared to the SC Black (5 of the 6).

tdp @78 to 80, if I try to go over 90 on the core I need to bump to 90tdp, and even then it may not stay running for 2 hrs or more.

spez2: locks I can confirm at 90tdp, 145CoreClock, 500MemClock (I work down from there and then manage power which slides everything to what I typed above) I have to undervolt to sub 80 due to temps in my garage.

hmm...intresting... ya i think it really is just the siliocon lottery and every card is different with different sweet spots, ya with the ti there nice and powerful i find, so udner 90 tdp is best i think.
ya i agree, every algo is so different , all depends on that too..
