Bitcoin is not supported in other countries because they protect their own currency. They afraid that their currency is down. The government is fear, they want to protect their own currency.
It may be their reason because the government is afraid of the potential of bitcoin that can take over their own local currency. Let alone bitcoins can not be controlled by their own of course the government will do anything including banning bitcoin to go in order for their local currency to be safe
