I can understand some one to invest on BAT (Even tho I find their product useless), or Status (This is actually can be the future WeChat), but Tezos? why the heck to invest on that ICO? low ROI and who knows what will come out of it.
You got so many capped ICO's with much higher ROI in potential..
I agree with your point that the no capped would mean that they would receive probably more than 'needed'. However another way to look at it is that the supply may amend such deficit. 6 months is a long time for new investors to come into the scene and by then they would be releasing their network, three factors are crucial to they maintaining an uptrend during release. 1. new investors coming into the space, would want to get into something that could potentially challenge eth. 2. poloniex listing it. 3. the hype that they already have a working products. I rather suggest only invest what you can afford to lose in such a project like tezos. if it does well you can potentially see good ROI if it doesnt then its part of the game.
