Re-branding is definitely needed. We need a much cleaner more sophisticated logo. I think you're on the right track there but still needs some polish. Try and avoid any of the standard photoshop filters as everyone and their dog uses those things and they're recognizable from a mile away.

I noticed on one of the Banner ads at the top of coinmarketcap.com "Compcoin" looks oddly similar to the current ECC design.
